He tells his wife to be.
She says nothing
Her future she can for see.
Diamonds and elaborate gifts
Probably not a possibility.
Shopping malls replaced with thrift’s.
She tells him it’s all right
Her future maybe not so bright.
However, her love to him she commits
Even though he can’t afford it.
