Pastels.
Another look back at a crooked face
Fading away.
A shadow takes its place as I'm pulled away
And its changed
Fading fast, I wasn't ready, and I need to take care of things I say that I'm going to
The minute I tell myself to
Or else I'll never feel like
I've accomplished anything
And I let down everyone I ever come in contact to.
I dance alone a lot and its great
But I can feel the colors fading as my flowers palette to a pastel shade
I'm just going to give up
Maybe I'll let the pedals wilt away to nothing
Or whatever comes after endlessness.
Time didn't wait
But I did
Nothing
Fading away.
A shadow takes its place as I'm pulled away
And its changed
Fading fast, I wasn't ready, and I need to take care of things I say that I'm going to
The minute I tell myself to
Or else I'll never feel like
I've accomplished anything
And I let down everyone I ever come in contact to.
I dance alone a lot and its great
But I can feel the colors fading as my flowers palette to a pastel shade
I'm just going to give up
Maybe I'll let the pedals wilt away to nothing
Or whatever comes after endlessness.
Time didn't wait
But I did
Nothing
