Death of A Crane
toppling towers
fall into rough seas
speak dying crane
tides rolling in
as crab scuttles pass
a diving beak
crash of waves
washing up mermaids
sing sweet melodies
tiptoe on panes of glass
waft rats they scurry
into fishing nets
dying crane
finds a herringbone
to snack upon at dawn
as the lotus blossom
drifts down the stream
of memory
fall into rough seas
speak dying crane
tides rolling in
as crab scuttles pass
a diving beak
crash of waves
washing up mermaids
sing sweet melodies
tiptoe on panes of glass
waft rats they scurry
into fishing nets
dying crane
finds a herringbone
to snack upon at dawn
as the lotus blossom
drifts down the stream
of memory
