Medusa’s Snakes

Self-reflection of monster’s maids
Faces of horrific grandeur uplifted from the grave
Death is mirrored appearance for hellish they pave
Open thy mouth
Foul odorous of hell illuminating earth from the pleasure within the bliss of dirt layering the enticing ingress of South

To take thy bed, within the sacred twan mark of the beast
Within the chambers of twin souls curses of its unsavory feast
Depravity feed by the pale horse thy ride
Masked to deceive with embracing passion hushed upon the sensual collide

Into the night, the hunger, the metamorphoses of the snake dancing of sexual immortality
Drips of blood in the exchange of fiery energy, domination of its duality
Close thy eyes, lives taken by unbreakable stone
Carnegie in the reflection never to atone

Echoes into the galleries to kill with the lips of thy witches' kiss
Temples of enlightment hovers to guard the cage of animalistic abyss
Sword of compassion, lifted without conscious to strike without the miss
Heads to grace the tips of spears, ashes-to-ashes dust to dust, ridden auras from the hemisphere’s midst

Author's Note
I will be poeming about some prolific mythology and mythical creatures since it is that time of the year... it will be nice if someone out there can do Perseus' story. So I can ping pong back and forth; just something to get great spirits in the Halloween mood and to brush up on my Shakespeare and Roman/Greek/Norse Mythology

Happy Reading..
