Not forever

Hidden behind brown eyes
Shadows dance across her face
She has a smile plastered on
Tall and quiet
That's all she is
Stab her in the back with knives,she won't mind
Say you'll always be there for her,and she'll do something crazy like believe it

Every word she hears is a lie
The pain is the only  thing she feels
It reminds her everything's real
Nothing stays for everything must go
Acting like you have it together so they will never know
Every time you try
You feel like you're telling a lie

To herself
She wants to be a great friend
Picking up the shattered glass of others lives
Trying to glue them back together
But it only leaves her bloodied and scarred

A loving daughter
Pretending she doesn't know what her father does
Lying to her mother
She wants to protect them
or herself?

A good person
Don't smoke
Don't drink
Don't starve
Don't cut

In reality
Nothing is what it seems
Bury your heart in your chest
Walk lightly
Smile brightly
Even if on the inside it feels like you're breaking
  Because eventually it will get better
