Weep No More Willow

weep not sweet willow
for the day is warm and bright
Intertwined we embrace
and forge on into the darkest night

lips are made of paraffin
damselfly eyes winking good byes
waving barren branches
we get caught in a whirlwind of lies

leaves swirl on the fallow grounds
as your roots stay strong
against the storm, that bends
but it doesn't break our bond

Weep no more sweet willow
for I'll hold on to these memories
and let the words rain down
like thunder booming in the valley

as our trunks have withered
we stood the test of time
as the joke that has been spoke
but the jester forgot the punchline

Weep not sweet willow...

Author's Note
I write many different theme of poetry...I sometimes blend themes this is about love, and the emotes abstract visuals, that give thanks to the earth mother...I am a spiritualist.
Also the imagery is always key when reading one of my poems I find it liberates the imagination so...

The image I used is called What Dreams will come...by Tomasz Alen Kopera
Very surreal and naturally beautiful with spiritualism
