Whispers
It's all in the head,
It's all been said,
Whispers they do try.
Playing with you,
Judging all you do,
Whispers often lie.
It's all in the focus,
Thoughts control us,
They will inhibit you.
The games they play,
Equate to hearsay,
Most of it untrue.
They lack the superiority,
Whispers are the minority,
There's always a choice.
You took your first step,
You decided to risk that,
Before there was a voice.
Forever lacking fondness,
Whispering words of weakness,
And inside you're folding.
Take a break from listening,
Playing along helps them win,
Silence really is golden.
It's another distraction
A form of addiction,
That has you arrested.
Plagiarise your thoughts,
You judge your courts,
In a life you’re invested.
Let the news just fly on by,
Don't analyze don't ask why,
Whispers on deaf ears.
No more slave to your past,
You can have the say, last.
On Whispers flyby years.
Stand up and be counted,
There's more to amount too,
Than meets the eye.
Silence those Whispers,
By ignoring their triggers,
And those Whispers will die.
In their place, another voice,
Yours, where you have a choice,
What you choose is essential.
There's another way, always is,
With some difficult choices,
You'll reach your full potential.
It's all in the mind,
In the head of all you'll find,
When whispers take control.
The minds not treasonous,
It here to enable us,
To realise and help us grow.
