Caprizant

Hearts are violent but fragile things, and mine has belonged to you, for the longest time. I’ve forgotten where you and I began but you’re etched deeply in my heart & soul, and that cannot be denied.

The ambience of our love has waxed and waned like the moon over the years but you’re impressed upon my heart & soul nonetheless, and you colour my world in hues that trigger my heart to hunger for the love notes that became the incantations that swaddled and sheltered me in your love.

A love, that will never be found in another.

Whilst you were sleeping, I kissed your heart & soul whilst planting sandalwood, lavender and wild sage seeds along the hedges of your heart in the hope that they’d grow, and protect you from heartache for I trust that our love is strong enough to stand the test of time, even when raging against the shifting tides.

I see you navigating the adversities but some things are best left unspoken and felt as you’re not alone in the journey you’re taking because I caught the same train when you departed, knowing that tomorrow isn’t always promised,.

I hope we continue to grow into one another, even though apart, abiding softly yet fiercely because our roots are firm, even in the midst of subtle shifts from season to season.

All you need to do is feel whilst breathing in the erubescent hues of Spring whilst your heart blossoms. So. Close your eyes, and think of how far we’ve come, and breathe me into you, just as I have you.
