No matter what I just can't keep my eyes off of you
From the way, your eyes light up
to the way your lips curl when you smile
the way your laughter sounds when it reverberates through the air
Not to mention your dark beautiful jet black long hair
that is as dark and captivating as the night sky
your skin that is the color of chestnuts and trees
the smell of you that reminds me of woods and musk
The taste of you which I cannot get enough of
The way your body embraces mine as we lay intertwined
The absolute warmth of you the love I swear I can feel
It scorches my skin and sends hot flashes through my veins
It's both a pleasure and a pain this I will say
I wish we could stay like this each day
lost in each others gaze as the day drifts away
but to reality, we must come and go our separate ways
For both you and I have obligations we must face
while mine is here yours takes you from place to place
But I do not fret for I know at the end of the day
you will be here again and though you cannot stay
