REMEMBERING THE TASTE
LINGERING
I had tasted
the nectar,
juices and
sweetness of
many fruits
and vegetables;
some were
bitter and sour;
some were wine,
liquor, and beer;
some I savored,
some never again.
BUT
when I tasted
you for the first time
my taste buds
realized that I
had never tasted
something as sweet
as the juice from
a ripe mango.
I will never forget
that taste, I remember
it every day.
Perhaps you know
of fruit or juice that might
taste better? Care to
share IT?
