Thank you. I'm not doing very well this week, but trying to be creative at least. E

Thank you! I have written two of these teeny ones now, and find it much harder than just being wordy! I enjoyed the challenge of packing maximum impact and meaning into a very few words.
My battle began in 1982 and is ongoing... rough week. I won't give up though.

I have quite a few OK and good times, so all is not lost. My daughter recently asked if I would get rid of my Ehlers Danlos, or mental health issues if I could choose one. I said neither, but would now ditch EDS... it just interferes with my fun. The emotional stuff feeds my creativity!

Can I get rid of the EDS? Sadly not... it's genetic! The main things I can't do very much of any more are walk unaided (I can, to a point, but it's painful) and write by hand. I fall over whenever I try to step over or around anything. Sometimes it's funny, and sometimes it's tedious.

It sounds horrendous & sort of like MS or a muscle wasting type disease to me but I am no GP, let me reassure you.

It's not progressive or wasting, fortunately. We can acquire permanent damage to joints or (in my case) ligaments, but not everybody gets worse with age. Some stiffen up and get better.
