Queen with no King
Her throne is second hand chair in a rundown home but she’s a Queen
Although her face and delicate frame are not encased in satin and lace she’s a Queen
And folks from her town and miles around come to see this sad, sad thing A Queen with no King.
There’s no royal escort in public places
Sometimes she walks alone it’s so disgracing.
No one calls out the palace guards so she’s protected
Would you believe sometimes she’s even disrespected
Somewhere there’s got to be a Prince
With good morals and with common sense
A student of a mentor King being groomed to fulfill her dreams
Until the time when they connect
May she walk in grace and May God protect
May she remain steadfast to seek the best
A King for a Queen and nothing less
Although her face and delicate frame are not encased in satin and lace she’s a Queen
