I can write great stories
About love and loyalty
About friendship and caring for each other
About warmth we feel in our hearts
I can write all those words that have already been said
Often already written by many poets before me
That's why I won't write about how love should feel
But shall remain realistic and tell you honestly
Love, love means hard work.
Love Hurts. And out of love you'll accept that hurt.
It won't always run smoothly.
It won't always be what you were hoping for
But love my friend... real love... it will last...
As long as you keep fighting.

Oh my goodness... it's so true. Whether that be love for your spouse, your kids or your pets... you have to work at it, and work at relationships. My God, it hurts at times. But is hopefully worth it!
