That you classify both as "presumptions," causes the reader to re-read.
One would suppose observation beckons judgment, and therefor suspending judgment requires self-discipline.
Whereas judging without observation...well, most people wouldn't classify that as an act of discipline, self- or otherwise.
So there's a bit of cognitive stretching to figure this stuff out.
Still not sure if I do.
But interesting, in a Francois Villon kind of way.

Thank you for the though provoking feedback. It is quite edifying to discover how others more apt at the quill perceive my scribbles.
Enlightening and humbling because your interpretation is far greater than mine. And to be compared to a tragic great such as Francois Villon even in the slightest is now the highlight of my life thus far.
