The triumph of the device
Suddenly surged what wasn't natural.
Despite being called civilizational,
to Nature, in many ways, detrimental.
Humankind intruded the artificial!
Amid them stand out technology,
doing fast computations on digital,
conjugating statements on logical,
yet, still incapable of sensitivity.
Processing data and information,
problem-solvers, till the most complex,
speed of light communication,
even achieving artificial intelligence.
Excitement came up with such a big hype.
So much conquered, or as if it had been.
To better see, backup just a bit,
and the great artificiality seems so little.
Humans hardly trust each other.
Having so many vulnerabilities,
no wonder, to avoid liabilities.
Thus, will trust a machine further?
To err is human, is known.
But to the artificial, it is yet to depict
those behaviors, still unknown.
Who wins this reliability conflict?
Humans gain countless vices
where machines don’t make sacrifices.
Willing to pay the reliance price?
Will triumph, in this, a device?
