Fire In You
Did it even matter
once you said
what had to be said?
Give a little afterthought,
don’t ever take your life
for granted.
Get into a better mood,
don’t rot in the dark like
you’re your father.
Smile a little more,
you won,
don’t sit and wallow,
your feelings matter.
Don’t be phoning it in
There’s still a little bit of fire left in you.
once you said
what had to be said?
Give a little afterthought,
don’t ever take your life
for granted.
Get into a better mood,
don’t rot in the dark like
you’re your father.
Smile a little more,
you won,
don’t sit and wallow,
your feelings matter.
Don’t be phoning it in
There’s still a little bit of fire left in you.
