A Pizza Of The Action!
So England now awaits
As they enter through the Wembley Gates
As Sweet Caroline is sung loud
Hoping to outplay
An Italian display
Far from the maddening crowd

My feelings are clear
As the final draws near
That England win 2-1, against Rome
It's been 55 years
Where we've shed many a tear
At last a trophy will be coming home

England had a good first half, but then the Italians pretty much took over the match, and England did well to survive, and take it to penalties. i saw Italy play in the very first match of this competition, and thought they were so good, that they would win it, never expecting that England would be their opponents in the final! my poem was merely optimistic! lol! :)

Must have hope. Like we did here in Montreal recently with the CH in Stanley cup finals for the first time in decades. They had a good run but lost....What a shame.
