Outside our dreams

I'm sure she must be out there, somewhere I'll find my Queen, or am I cursed to loneliness except when I'm in my dream

Is she only a figment of my hearts wishes, a Queen who isn't real, is she just a need I have, to love, to care and feel

Is she out there in the void, looking also for her King, someone to make her life complete, and the happiness it would bring

A King and Queen together, would be a fairytale come true, but for now I wander through my dreams, still searching just for you

I wonder do you do the same, when alone at night in bed, do you imagine someone like me, a King designed inside your head

Made to fit all your needs, to fulfil your empty heart, to make you feel less lonely, though we're worlds apart

You could make my life complete, I could do the same it seems, if only we could find each other, in a world outside our dreams
