I remember
after thirty plus years
all the good times
and some of the tears
I still remember
the smell of your perfume
the night we met
that we can not get
your of you neck
still taste the same
through the seasons
graying hair and wrinkles
now when you laugh you tinkle
for me with out your help
it takes a little longer
for the wrinkles to come out
your kisses still move my heart
that once straightened my cord
now it takes a little more
the lack of desire and want
is not at fault
that I am full of
we never pass up
a chance to make love
we never know
when it might be our last tango
all the good times
and some of the tears
I still remember
the smell of your perfume
the night we met
that we can not get
your of you neck
still taste the same
through the seasons
graying hair and wrinkles
now when you laugh you tinkle
for me with out your help
it takes a little longer
for the wrinkles to come out
your kisses still move my heart
that once straightened my cord
now it takes a little more
the lack of desire and want
is not at fault
that I am full of
we never pass up
a chance to make love
we never know
when it might be our last tango
