Missing You
I lie awake in bed
Wearing one of your shirts
And daydreaming of kissing you again
This distance hurts me
Way more than I thought it would
But I just have to hold on a little longer
I need to see you
And hug you
And never let you go
You are my happiness
My warmth
My weirdo
Our calls and texts
Are just not enough some days
Leaving me sad and miserable
All I want is to feel your touch
Kiss your lips
And be in the presence of the one I adore
But for now I'm here
Aware that your scent no longer lingers on this shirt
And daydreaming of holding you in my arms
Wearing one of your shirts
And daydreaming of kissing you again
This distance hurts me
Way more than I thought it would
But I just have to hold on a little longer
I need to see you
And hug you
And never let you go
You are my happiness
My warmth
My weirdo
Our calls and texts
Are just not enough some days
Leaving me sad and miserable
All I want is to feel your touch
Kiss your lips
And be in the presence of the one I adore
But for now I'm here
Aware that your scent no longer lingers on this shirt
And daydreaming of holding you in my arms
