Dysfunctional

You look at yourself
Disgusted by what you see
It seems you can’t free in this society
Because you won’t let yourself be
You can’t compete with the sociality
So you live off of the hypocrisy
That goes around you and your family
They ignore you acting as if you were never there
So you have to depend on yourself
And face the fear that never goes away
You’re living the nightmare
Of a dysfunctional dream
Your mother is never showing the love
That one mother should do
Your father drinks him self to sleep every night
It’s so hard to be in conversation
Because always ends in a fight
You want to get closer to the light
That your family despises
The agony and depression rises up
Because your family fucked up
All you have is yourself
You scream so loud
But they can’t hear
They are deaf of your needs
So you cut the blade
Into your skin
Just waiting for it to bleed
Everyone hates you
Because you can’t stand up for yourself
Because you never had the discipline
You never had the inspiration
You never had the possession
Been stuck in this recession
Of living in your dysfunctional reality.
