you have been my everything
since the first night we met
you ignited my loves heart beating
I had a fire breathing anger
you quenched those flames
without saying a thing
your deep dark eyes
sparkled like the midnight sky
I seen love for the first time
no longer lost
yesterday is long gone
in your eyes love was on display
affirmation of love today
now you body gives equal time
after 38 years
still like horny teens
just a deeper intimacy
and know each others
body intimately
