It's summer outside
you say
with a smile
But it's winter
in Here
The pain you feel
Remembering
defrosting your mind
to lay bare
naked
and cold
the promises
you once held
with pride
for a while
only now
understanding
life's rules
every promise
you break
brings your winter
closer
everyday
inside
where life only shines
outside
