Sometimes Worlds Collide
What is dream and what is real
Desire speaks the words that we dont say
Close
We're often found like that
We bump
The accidental touch
And looks
That gaze...perhaps too long
And yet we talk of other worlds
Than of the nearness that I feel
Why speak of work or home
When all I want
Is to brush back that stray strand of hair
My hand touching your face
And hope for a softening of your eyes
Or faintest catch of breath
And all of this
But a prelude to a kiss
Desire speaks the words that we dont say
Close
We're often found like that
We bump
The accidental touch
And looks
That gaze...perhaps too long
And yet we talk of other worlds
Than of the nearness that I feel
Why speak of work or home
When all I want
Is to brush back that stray strand of hair
My hand touching your face
And hope for a softening of your eyes
Or faintest catch of breath
And all of this
But a prelude to a kiss
