Selfish

It was never about my pleasure
The motions were swift and uncaring
You used my body to chase your high
And always left me wanting

I always did my best to please you
Acts that left me feeling ashamed
You gave up on me before we even got started
Didn't fight for me when walked away

You should've made love to me like your life depended on it
You should've bared your soul to me
Trusted me
And made an attempt to make me feel special

You should've made me feel safe enough to explore myself
Should've taught me how
Instead of expecting me to know

I opened my heart and my legs to you
And you selfishly took your fill and discarded the rest
