WHY I COMMENT ON POEMS
HONOR
It is an honor,
to me, for me,
to read the poems
and writings of
others, regardless of
where they appear;
even on toilet walls
NO,
not to sit in judgment,
criticize, or evaluate,
but to enjoy, meditate,
and appreciate what the
writer has put into the poem.
Some are written out of joy,
some out of sadness, anger,
sexual arousal, being coy;
others seek to challenge
and create questions,
and even confusion which
is good at the time.
While I recognize spelling errors,
syntax goofs, and other correctness
English Saints worship,
[I respect them, too]
I am okay with it.
It's the writer's heart,
mind, and soul, hopefully,
that's speaking or being shared.
I consider it a privilege and
gift when I'm able to read
YOU.
I am waiting.
Hope you feel the same.
