HOW NOT TO SPEAK TO ME

Yes, there is a
time and place
for most things in life,
this is a dynamic
truth relative to
the process of
one-on-one communication.
I enjoy riddles but
not in intimate conversations.
I love questions but
not a quick response question
in an attempt to avoid my question.
I appreciate up and down but
don't enjoy being
spoken down to or
put down for no real reason.
I can deal with vulgar language
but not when, hopefully,
we are having a civil conversation.
I have great hearing ability
in my two ears so I
don't need to be screamed at.
I appreciate your mind
but I don't need a piece of it.
I hope we are in mutual
agreement...you don't
want to be spoken to or about
in these and other ways.
How beautiful, loving, and
meaningful our talks,
discussions, and communications
will be.
