Seduced (Part II Of Part IV)
FENTIN’S BAR AND GRILL
San Diego, California
Later That Evening
Fentin pulled his vehicle in the reserved parking space of his restaurant. He rested the engine, and then withdrew the key.
“Fentin, is this some kind of joke? The last time, I was here. I observed a woman with my husband’s dick inside her mouth.”
“Yes, I know, and I’m sorry, but in order for you and me to move past this and get on with our lives. I thought I will bring you back to the scene of my betrayal, and my foolish mistake.”
“I don’t know Fentin, what would this prove. I’m with Kincaid now. I forgave you many months ago.”
“Yes, but have you forgiven yourself.”
“I was not the one who committed adultery.”
“Yes, I know this to be true, however, for whatever its worth. Your indirect action caused me to stray. Wait before you throw daggers at me with those beautiful eyes. I am talking in the furtively sense. If you felt this marriage was strained, I should have been the first person you confided in. However, I’m totally at fault, for looking outside of my marriage for a thrill, which I knew I could had gotten at home on any given day.”
Fentin rotated Shaylynn’s face around and kissed her on the lips. He inched his face back and caressed her cheek.
“I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me. I have given it much thought to ask you for another chance at this marriage.”
“Fentin, we are legally divorced.”
“I heard three times is a charm.”
“I guess if I do marry you, it will be the third time.”
“I believe in fate. Now can we exit this vehicle beautiful? We do have dinner plans.”
Shaylynn looked over in the direction of Fentin’s restaurant.
“Okay, but only lunch. I have to get back to Las Vegas.”
“For.”
“I have to talk to Kincaid, since he has not called, I suppose I must extend the olive branch, to see if we still have a future.”
“And if you two don’t.”
“I have never been to New York.”
“Wait a minute. I do not want you because another man doesn’t. I want you to come to me, complete, whole, not broken, this is why I brought you here. I really want to make this relationship work again.”
Shaylynn palmed Fentin’s cheek.
“We will see.”
Shaylynn removed her hand and then unsnapped her seatbelt.
Fentin unsnapped his seatbelt. He opened the door and stepped out of his rented two-seater Lexus. He pushed the door close and walked around the vehicle to the passenger. He opened the door for Shaylynn.
Shaylynn stepped out Fentin’s vehicle.
“Thank you.”
“Marry me again, and we’ll call it even.”
He winked at her.
Shaylynn smiled.
Fentin pushed the door. He grabbed ahold of Shaylynn’s hand.
Both walked to the back entrance of Fentin’s Bar and Grill.
OCEAN BEACH
San Diego, California
“Oh, you didn’t know your boyfriend, had built the casino across from your former ballet school, and renovated the casino across from mine. You must had some good pussy for a loser to follow you from Belarus to America; well you tell that fuck, he can have the pussy.”
Kincaid palmed his chin down in frustration. Damn, he wished Shaylynn did not take his threats serious about getting her locked up for a ring, the insurance company paid triple value for.
“Geoffrey, Madman, or Bruiser, do anyone of you know how to get me into that beach home.”
“Certainly sir. All you have to do is ask. However, I will need a credit card, and a paper clip.”
Kincaid lifted his wallet from out the back pocket of his pants, opened it, and then removed his credit card. He reached over the limousine aisle and handed it to Hangman. He returned his wallet to his back pants pocket.
“I will be right back sir.”
“Wait, the paper clip.”
Kincaid lifted the paper clipped pre-nup agreement and a Nevada state marriage license from off the mini-bar top. He removed the paperclip and handed it to Hangman. He placed the papers back down on the bar-top.
“Make this quick, I could use a shower, and get out of these damn traveling clothes.”
“Sure Boss.”
Hangman reached over and opened the door. He got out the limousine, pushed the door close, and walked over to the entrance door of the beach home.
ONE HOUR LATER
Shaylynn took a deep breath. Did she make the right decision, to walk away from Fentin? She wanted a fresh start where she could place the past behind her. Since Kincaid had her back against the wall about having her arrested for the money of his ring. She had to get away, and quickly.
Maybe she could work out a payment plan, until his seven million dollars is paid in full.
“Shaylynn, I love you reconsider, us moving into the future together.”
“Fentin, I would always love you, always, but not enough to marry you again.”
She remembered she palmed Fentin’s handsome face.
“If perhaps this thing with the old bastard does not feel right, look right, or work out. You always have a home in New York, and in my bed.”
“I might be there sooner than you expect.”
“I have no qualms.”
She felt over her lips in remembrance as both placed their emotions in a long goodbye kiss.
“I have hope for us, Shaylynn Forrester.”
“Good then that gives me hope and comfort.”
“Ma’am that would be forty dollars.”
“I’m sorry.”
Shaylynn placed her purse on her lap, opened it, and took out her wallet. She opened it and lifted a fifty-dollar bill. She closed her purse back and dropped it back inside her purse. She closed her purse.
“Here you are sir.”
Shaylynn handed the taxicab driver a fifty-dollar bill over the seat.
“You may keep the change.”
‘Thank you.”
Shaylynn reached over and grasped the door handle; she opened the door, stepped out the taxicab, and pushed the door close.
The taxicab drive drove off.
Shaylynn pulled her silk wrap up her bare arms. She opened her purse, dug around, and pulled the house key out. She inserted it inside the lock and twisted it. Shaylynn withdrew the key and dropped it back inside her purse. She closed her purse and opened the door; she entered the beach house, and then pushed the door close. She stepped out her stilettoes sandals, placed her wrap on a wingback soft leather chair, and then removed the two hairpins confining the inverted bun worn at the top of her head. She placed the hairpins down on the glassed table.
Kincaid’s eyes moved up and down the back of Shaylynn’s legs. He liked when she wore her hair down and they made love; she looked like a wild gypsy in the throne of passion to him.
“I take it you have my funds in your hand.”
Shaylynn bit down on her bottom lip. She was going to jail. Shit, she tried to flee before she had to face him again. Shaylynn turned around. Her eyes went to the towel knotted around Kincaid’s midsection.
Water droplets glided down his hirsute chest wall. His hair was slicked back.
“Ahh…I have to go to the bank, and possibly take out a loan. I will have to work out the rest with a payment plan.”
He hated her for her betrayal, yet he loved her.
“Where is that pimple face kid, who confronted me on the phone?”
“Excuse me.”
“Before, I allow you to marry another man. You will pay me my funds, or you will be getting married to someone else behind prison bars.”
“I’m not marrying anyone.”
Kincaid’s eyes dropped down to Shaylynn’s left hand. He found her eyes again.
“Good. Then why in the fuck did you let that piece of shit, Matao touch you!”
“I fainted in front of the construction site of his casino; when I awaken, I was at his residence, which is near your estate.”
“Not anymore.”
Shaylynn arched her eyebrows at the discovery.
“Dammit! I asked you in Monaco do you have for feelings for Matao, and your unfaithful ass advised me you have no feelings for no other man, than me.”
“I’m sorry, Kincaid, I never meant to hurt you.”
Kincaid walked over to where Shaylynn stood.
Shaylynn stepped back.
Kincaid lifted Shaylynn’s chin.
“Fuck your sorry Shaylynn, now where is my money?”
“I will get it to you somehow.”
“Then you suffer the dire consequences.”
Kincaid stepped back and walked over to his cell phone on the table.
“Kincaid, wait.”
Shaylynn ran after Kincaid. She reached out for the towel wrapped around his waist.
Kincaid turned around.
Shaylynn stepped back.
“Could you at least give me until tomorrow, please?”
Kincaid palmed his chin down.
“And what if you do not have my money by tomorrow morning.”
“Tomorrow morning, that’s too soon.”
“Then we are back to square one, little one.”
Kincaid traced over Shaylynn’s top lip.
“I have a permanent solution, for all parties involved.”
He traced over the bottom lip. He lifted her chin. His face slowly descended to hers
Kincaid kissed Shaylynn’s lips. He kissed the side of her neck.
“You will marry me, and we would put this entire shit behind us,” he whispered in her ear.
Kincaid inched his face back.
“You still want to marry me.”
“Yes, I feel Matao or that boy who you were once married too, is not a suitable match.”
“Wait, do you even still love me?”
“No. This will be a business arrangement. Not to worry, I will provide all your essentials and your needs.”
“You don’t love me anymore,” Shaylynn stated, half-shocked, and half-hurt.
“No, it’s too complicated dealing with the raw emotions of it. Therefore, once you come up with the money, we divorce, and you leave this marriage arrangement as you arrived, with nothing. Or you go to jail tonight.”
“How could you do this to me?”
Shaylynn turned her back on Kincaid.
“Love went out the window, once I walked in and witnessed my fiancée with another man’s dick swimming inside her pussy!”
Ouch she thought.
Kincaid stepped up to Shaylynn’s turned back. He moved her hair aside and kissed the back of her neck.
“Oh, one small clause, sex will be involved, as if we are a married couple. And one of my bodyguards will know your every movement at all times.”
Tears flowed freely down Shaylynn’s cheeks.
“Are we in agreement?”
“I see I have no other choice.”
“Very well then, we leave out in an hour, and we get married as soon as my private jet lands in Nevada.”
Shaylynn turned around to face Kincaid.
“How about my family’s attendance.”
“It’s not about your family; once you’ve crossed me, it’s now personal.”
Shaylynn fingered her fingers back through her hair.
“I will be down in twenty minutes.”
“I will be here, dressed, and ready to go.”
