Harmonious loss of composure
Can you see yourself?
Set in the crowded room.
That moment the screams are louder than they ever have been before.
You'll try to hold on tight,
at least for tonight.
Beg and plead as they rise.
Groveling before shadows,
too stubborn to let go.
The gravest mistake that echoes
at the loss of your own voice.
It's too early to leave.
Senseless repetition,
Amongst resonating shame.
Lights out.
Words falter at the explanation.
Pretending to be alive.
Dim, the branches will bend.
Back and forth.
The fate you asked never to come.
Time bleeds into your eyes.
The world will be a bit different.
Dread,
curdles to the will of man.
The seams will leak,
finite whispers.
The windows shatter at the
finale.
Time to go,
The "little" time it took.
From then.
Breathe.
That's all that's left.
Dust, that will never settle.
Set in the crowded room.
That moment the screams are louder than they ever have been before.
You'll try to hold on tight,
at least for tonight.
Beg and plead as they rise.
Groveling before shadows,
