Frogs & Wisdom

 
I thought it might be too early for the frogs to start to holler from down in the Koi pond, for all thier girlfriends to come over.  
 
But this morning,  there he was, sounding off.

I dedicate frogs to wisdom.

When I'm writing, I think about my family a lot and how I had to leave them behind in thier thinking.   I had such contempt, because of my mind, because of what I had loved and experienced, and so when it came to expression, I felt like I was being held underwater.    
 
I had to distance myself from all of them.   That's a lot of silence to fulfill,   but it was the language I needed to learn the most.    
 
It takes some clearing of the air to hear a frog hop down in the water.
