Bottomless Pit
from a bottomless pit
of light comes a fountain
erupting, cascading
sensations now mounting
in the spaces between
our thinking and knowing
a powerful stream
keeps growing and growing
from somewhere unknown to
forever it's flowing
we're all afloat,
adrift as we're going
on and then on
awake in the torrent
or when we dream
to flee what's abhorrent
in what we believe
we knew when we started
at last letting go
now we have departed
to float in a stream
of light in a fountain
from a bottomless pit
with sensations now mounting
