The most powerful weapon
What's the most powerful weapon?
Is it a gun, with it's powerful might,
able to launch metal out of sight?
Taking lives, saddening wives,
as it slowly, makes them widows?
Or is it disease, with all it's reaping,
you cough, you sputter, your hand left bleeding.
You lie in bed, you're health depleting,
you're left with nothing, but a sense of defeating.
Or is it god, and his almighty wrath?
He's gotta laugh, and it's always last.
He throws lighting, and causes EQ,
there aren't many who can avoid him, (if only a few).
Yet despite all these, the most powerful weapon, I'm sure.
is love, it's destructive, yet it's also the cure.
It can fill you with misery,
or even sincerity.
It can make you do the craziest things,
like letting girls have fun with your hair,
and you know, she keeps blowing up your FaceBook
but you, just don't even care.
It can create,
it can change,
it can lighten,
it can destroy.
Now can a gun, do that?
