If I wrote you a long letter  
about how I feel today    
I'm sure that wouldn't change a thing  
because you wouldn't stay..  
    
I miss the passing hours  
that added up our time    
24 was never long enough  
when I could call you mine..    
   
I lived a life of fantasy  
when I could hold you close    
To feel the warmth  
of your embrace  
is what I miss the most..    
   
Left without an option  
to feel you close to me    
this pain I feel inside my heart  
just won't let me be..    
   
Expressing raw emotion  
where judgment does not live    
I began to feel the burdens
escaping through my skin..    
   
I wrote a chapter in my heart  
then sealed it with a kiss    
These tear stained pillow cases  
are what I will not miss..
