Summer Solstice
It's been three months and a day,
I reckon.
we had to separate ways
to find our soul.
a sudden gush that broke
our silly smiles;
that caused our dreams
to miss the aisle.
we couldn't fix
what was broken.
we couldn't pick up
what had fallen.
it was a short lived
laughter after all;
or just another summer
to welcome the fall...
I reckon.
we had to separate ways
to find our soul.
a sudden gush that broke
our silly smiles;
that caused our dreams
to miss the aisle.
we couldn't fix
what was broken.
we couldn't pick up
what had fallen.
it was a short lived
laughter after all;
or just another summer
to welcome the fall...
