State of mind
Imprisoned by four my walls,
Imprisoned in my mind
To scared to search through my thoughts
Afraid of what I'll find,
For in my thoughts are there bad things
That are sure to ruin your day
If you took a look inside my mind
I'm sure you'll pass away
In my mind you're sure to find
a predator killing its pray...
... But that predator is me
and I am ashamed
But I swear I'll make them Rue the day

Fear is ever consuming, till we look at it. It's also imprisoned within those four walls but only darkened when we don't shine some light on them. Nice write

Man I have battles with my thoughts everyday. I try not to let the negative consume me. I truly relate to this poem and had to add it to my reading list✊🏽✊🏽
