love wanted
All I ever wanted is love,
Just to be with someone the rest of my life,
Not given the shove,
Or to give anyone strife,
To be held once more,
To find some I am sure,
Spend the rest of my days being happy,
No longer wanting to feel crappy,
Just to feel the warmth of another soul,
To no longer feel like an empty hole,
Just to hold them tight,
Lay with them every night,
Wake up next to them every morning,
For a kiss and a cuddle that would never get boring,
Just to feel the glow,
No longer feel the low,
To walk together,
Into a sunset that seems to go forever.
Just to be with someone the rest of my life,
Not given the shove,
Or to give anyone strife,
To be held once more,
To find some I am sure,
Spend the rest of my days being happy,
No longer wanting to feel crappy,
Just to feel the warmth of another soul,
To no longer feel like an empty hole,
Just to hold them tight,
Lay with them every night,
Wake up next to them every morning,
For a kiss and a cuddle that would never get boring,
Just to feel the glow,
No longer feel the low,
To walk together,
Into a sunset that seems to go forever.
