for angry Women

have i not apologized for my sex?
alpha, beta, omegas alike
please let me then take on your scowls
your tattered patience tested for ages
before Betty could alter
and preach Mystique
before Suffrage gave its first step to voices
for which the universe is in such thirst

one moment at a time
my eyes downward
ego between legs
ears laid out flat across the land you traverse
let me hear your pulse
as your rhythm picks up speed
and your will
like mass applying its force
runs over our delusions so grand
we nearly drowned in our own pursuits
