I am the one
I am the one
I am the Sun that warms her at the beginning of her day, I've scared away the dark night, what more can I say
I am the air she breaths in, the air that gives her life, I am here to bring her happiness, to take away her strife
Iam the water that she drinks, her thirst I'm made to quench, if she needs to rest a while, I'll be a seat or bench
I am the umbrella to protect her, from the sleat and rain, I'm the anaesthetic, to take away her pain
I am a tissue to wipe her pretty cheek, if there is a tear, I'm the pillow that she hides behind, if she's feeling fear
I am a coat in deepest winter, to keep out the icy cold, a frame for her to lean on, when she gets grey and old
I am the one, I'd give to her my soul, my life and heart, for I would be anything for her and from her I'll never part
I am the one she turns too, on her sad and darkest day, I am the one that she can lean on, i am so very proud to say
