Redemption
I looked over
and it was like damn
I kept looking
and it hit me everytime
now we been something for awhile
but I still feel those butterflies
fluttering around inside
before you I was lost
storms raged in my mind
you came to me
calmed my demons with a healing touch
I need your love to take me
give me love with embracing
needing your love
your love, to redeem me
laying my head down on your chest
listening to your heartbeat
now I know
I have found home
makes me never want to look back
at when I was such a punk
the gates of heaven have open up
I’ll sleep in your arms
tonight and every night after
over the stars or under the sheets
as long as you’ll have me
I devote myself to you

the savior to my darkness

spilling onto reality
