Book Of Rhymes 2
I'm a man that can stand on his own two feet
I'm a humble empath but I'm far from sweet
I've accomplished feats that I didn't think I could
Survived more storms than I thought I would
Stood on my square; remaining firmly there
Trials & tribulations have caused gray hair
Life ain't fair nor a crystal stair for many
Trying to evade negative energy
Could lead symphonies of tiny violins
Won't do it because the struggle never ends
They're appended to this thing that we call life
Only the strong survive; enduring life's strife
Trying to get a slice of peace and solace
That type of pie is only seen at a glance
I'm advancing my growth one step at a time
While scribing my journey in my book of rhymes
