A Song Contained in Silent Refrain
I do not want to preach to the choir
Nor do I want to preach for the choir
But I do want the chorus to understand
That the music in their collective soul
Also sings within the chambers of mine
No one can own or imprison freedom
Shackles and chains cannot contain the heart
Walls will never impede the breath of Jesus
From cooling the embers of hatred's stain
and
Freedom cannot ring in souls of silence
