A Kiss
The warm embrace
and sultry kiss.
A wonderful moment,
you didn’t realize
how much you’d miss.
Now that it is gone
all you can do is reminisce.
The memory
a source of bliss.
Although, there is
also a feeling of abyss.
Why in the moment
did you dismiss?
and sultry kiss.
A wonderful moment,
you didn’t realize
how much you’d miss.
Now that it is gone
all you can do is reminisce.
The memory
a source of bliss.
Although, there is
also a feeling of abyss.
Why in the moment
did you dismiss?

Because being strung along by someone with an identity crisis just isn't my thing.

It could be dual meaning - I'll let the reader decide or maybe the reader has others: (a) Why didn't you savor the moment while it was occurring, or (b) why did the relationship end by one party being cast off.

It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.. and I am quite sure the beautiful ride was worth the sweetest fall my wandering poet.. So, savor on the reminisce it sometimes brings the sweetest rewards, what an incredibly soft serenade

It is always on honor to have your words grace my submission page. Thank-you for reading and commenting; and the night in Italy.

The morning in Italy was referred as a time zone. ...delayed because of unexpected requests of family members to run errands for them. And trying to stay focused right now

It feels bittersweet. I love the moment and I miss the moment, and I'm sad that I didn't give the moment more value?

Digging the rhyme scheme. The bliss of a kiss is powerful, looking back missing that moment is such "doh" wise words of Homer J. Simpson, enjoying your write.

There is nothing as sensual as kiss.
Nothing more memorable when
it’s perfect. Nothing so missed when it gone because it a gateway to a loving future or a sweet goodbye.
Enjoyed the write
