Forlorn
Forlorn
The sun climbs up in the sky, I'm left here all Forlorn, the girl of my dreams has gone, she leaves before its dawn
All the time it's dark outside, together we are one, but alone am at daybreak, heart broken by the Sun
Everyone loves the sunny days, they they get up so bright and strong, I prefer the night time, it's when you come along
Sliding out of darkness, the love within my head, fulfilling all my hopes and dreams, whilst I sleep in bed
You fill my every dream each night, my love for you is strong, I hold you in my arms real tight, you're right where you belong
Throughout the night you are mine, a love that feels so real, then by Sunlight you are gone again, the feelings so surreal
How can this love be so real, I feel her warm embrace, I close my eyes to be with you, to look upon your face
So I pray the Sun never rises, I don't want it's warming rays, I'd live in perpetual darkness, to have you all my days
