When I知 Sleeping Tonight
Tucked in cozy to bed
with your stories
still in my sleepy head
Look out the window
at the stars with me
up at what
the wild things see
what are those
night things doing
while I知 tucked in
fast asleep?
The ones who climb
while others jump and run
and still more fly up high
do they care that others
need peace while they sleep
while they flutter howl
scream and screech?
did they even notice
that the blinds are closed
and the lights dim low?
do they stop and peak
into my window?
with your stories
