My Thought Dreams
 
Ive lived my life so many times
But only in my head
Played with new scenarios
Whilst lying in my bed.
This life I have aint what I thought
My life was going to be,
A troubles past I cant shake off
That seems to follow me.
 
Supersonic me to the future
So I can go check it out
If I do wrong I can put it right
Before it comes about,
Better still, rewind my life
Let me start again
I think I'd change almost everything  
Except for you, my friend.
 
Where would I start? What would I do?
Its all kind of exciting
What ever I'd do I'd do with pride
Which makes it more inviting.
But I'm in this life, the one I'm living
For now its quite humdrum
Needs to be shaken, pushed and pulled
Allow there to be fun.
 
Someone ought to talk to me
And that person should be me
But the things I say and the things I do
Just dont seem to agree,
The future will decide I'm told
Why not just go with the flow?
Well I'm just like everyone else out there
And I suppose I'd rather know.
 
Give me the strength, give me the will
With reason and a cause
And I'll give you my answer
My wisdom and the truth
For tomorrow we face the image
That stares us in the face
The image of ourself
Whether honoured or disgraced.
 
So climb the tree of wisdom
For your no longer in your youth
As dying comes much closer
We've got to face the truth  
Remember all the faces?
The ones who stared in your direction
The only eyes that you should heed
Are the ones in your reflection.
 
For if you cant look yourself in the eye
Then why should anyone else?
If they sparkle, shine, or glisten
Then thats your soul itself...
As days grow shorter and night creeps in
A find a new beginning  
Strange? After all Ive just said?
But my new thing is called winning.
 
So once I learn all the secrets
Of life's hidden agenda
My life will flourish, my life will bloom
As in natures hacienda...
So this life that we're all living?
Surely cant be that bad???
Well let me tell you something dear reader
Its the best I've ever had...
