Into the time of earthly elements
I purge the ancient wisdom of my intellect
Unto Mother Nature
I bow in benediction of my Creole creation
To which I stand
And by the fate of my pedigree
I shall flourish in truth
As I bow in faith
The universe cloaking my tongue in the dialect of wisdom

Beautiful poem and picture, which suggests to me a Creole Bluebell dancer (cf the Parisian Bluebell Girl dancers).

I am very young in age, those woman are what about seventy years old or older, however they were a beguiling dance troupe how performed in Paris. The picture above made me think of Josephine Baker that is why I selected it. In addition, thank you for reading and the beautiful provided comment. Josephine Baker was a contemporary of the Bluebells. I recall watching a tv series called Bluebell about the Irish woman who founded the troupe, inone episode the girls discuss when the troupe is being formed what they would be, one suggested 'twenty-three Josephine Bkers'.

I suppose you learn something everyday and thank you for that information.. she was indeed a remarkable woman and her political contributions will never go unnoticed in my heart...
