I fell for a Gemini,
One with two sides,
He was split down the middle,
The new-age Dr. Jykll & Mr. Hyde.
My Gemini was kind,
And he listened & he learned me,
So I ignored my intuition,
& ignored my stomach turning.
Because I thought I’d found the one,
And it was just hard for the moment.
The Gemini, he courted me,
So long & patient,
So this revelation has taken away my breath
Left me feeling anxious and unkept...
Had me questioning my sanity the whole time,
Second guessing myself thinking it’s all in my mind,
That maybe since at first he wasn’t my type
I was put off
But all along, turns out I’d been right.
Damn you Gemini,
With your two different sides,
One so lovable,
& One so not,
I suppose it’s on me though,
Trying to give the benefit of the doubt,
Trying to believe you’re not like the men I’d vented to you about.
Even though something said so
I couldn’t say what,
So I tried to let it go,
But deep down, Spirit always knows,
But since I ignored it,
Painfully the truth unfolds...
