Debris of your dreams, (collaboration with skinnyjean)
Pathways that lead to nowhere,
Promises that lead me to you,
Endless hallways paved with dust,
Looking for you love, and lust.
Locked doors which I fail to open,
If only you'd lend me the keys,
Endlessly searching, Effortlessly hoping,
That maybe your somewhere waiting for me,
Is this search to fulfill my dearest dreams,
Too much to ask of you and me?
Or is it hopeless? I ask my own heart,
Everynight before I fade back to sleep,
But I find reason in what we once believed,
Was everything one could ever want or need,
Memories of long ago keep me searching,
Through the debris of your dreams.
