far less than learning
radio playing, sending ghost
into the air.
silver lies;
papyrus memories at war
with night.
broken skies,
broken wine
glasses,
broken
sleep.
God is a naughty child
throwing temper tantrum
at my life,
dead sparrows have no
need to dream.
the ruination of Athens
coughing up dust and
the bones of Plato on
unwashed streets,
the university's of bars
and books of alcohol read
dry.
clown faces of whores look
for a circus to
preform
in.
passing through all
this;
the animal logic,
flowers of uberous
drenched in street
showers of
trash.
I stand back,
take it all
in,
laugh...
and pick my teeth with
the bones of
night.
