Two Way Mirror
I dulled my light so your star could shine bright
But you never did the same
You were the center of my world
But I was another face in yours
When you'd call I'd come from miles away
But you wouldn't round a corner
When we'd fight I always said sorry
But you were always right
I got the courage to confess my love
But you had the nerve to lie
When I found the strength to finally leave
You used the power you have over me
I loved you with all my heart
But you never wanted me
You tried to trap me
But I set myself free
But you never did the same
You were the center of my world
But I was another face in yours
When you'd call I'd come from miles away
But you wouldn't round a corner
When we'd fight I always said sorry
But you were always right
I got the courage to confess my love
But you had the nerve to lie
When I found the strength to finally leave
You used the power you have over me
I loved you with all my heart
But you never wanted me
You tried to trap me
But I set myself free
